We advise holidaymakers to secure the property with a deposit only and pay the balance much nearer to the weeks you have booked. This is usually 6-8 weeks prior to the arrival date. Ask for a posted receipt for your deposit together with the terms and conditions for the rental together with all the necessary contact details. This will also bring owners into closer contact with renters and thus it is beneficial to both parties.
